Jayce loved playing in the sand, digging holes and splashing in the water. He was very confused though when his hole was full of water, then a few moments later, was empty again.
Braden enjoys an ice cream bar while we play shuffleboard. We ate LOTS of ice cream.
Frisbee was fun on the beach. Here's Tristan in action.

Camping at the Conference Grounds

We had a lot of fun this past week. We were blessed with a gorgeous week, lots of sunshine and cool nights. Everyday we spent time at the beach, bike riding, playing games, walking, playing at the playground and enjoying a campfire. The week went so fast! It was really great being able to enjoy the boys without worrying about the laundry, cleaning, errands and so on.

Jayce went to his very first "class". Each day they had "bible school" for the kids. He was so excited! When I dropped him off, his class of 30+ 3 & 4 year olds walked to the front of the auditorium. He turned around with a HUGE smile & wave good-bye. It was harder for me than him! The experience was good though, especially since he'll start worship center in a few weeks.

Braden loved being able to go off w/o me riding his scooter or bike. Check out his tan, too!

Tristan actually got a bit home sick. He loves being home and by Thursday, our 6th day, he was ready to go home to his room, Bailey and toys.

YUMMY! Jayce enjoys a Flavor Ice from Aunt Holly at East Lake Campground. Check out those curls...time for a hair cut!

Braden is trying so hard to blow bubbles!
If he isn't successfull right away, he thinks he needs more pieces of gum! Keep trying buddy!

Braden has waited so long to go fishing on Lake Erie-I LOVED watching his face as he experienced big lake fishing for the first time! Being with Papa on the boat was lots of fun for all the boys. Jayce even loved it, especially going fast!

Summer 2008

We are enjoying summer to the fullest this year! Eric has been working lots of hours and enjoying golf. The boys & I have been swimming and to the lake a few times. We've all gone camping to East Lake, where we had our first experience with stiches! and also camped in Canada in Leamington where Dad keeps his fishing boat. We are enjoying our first attempt at growing a garden - it isn't fabulous, but there are plants growing!

We've enjoyed MANY lazy mornings and fun days with family & friends.
